So i was messing about on my pc, and i installed cpu z, when i was looking at the core thingy, only 4 are showing up, but shouldn't 8 show up???? i try rebooting, reinstalling cpu z but nothing, any ideas?

Is it not showing 8 threads at least in Task Manager?

Make sure that Hyperthreading is enabled in the BIOS.

its only a 4 core processor so thats all that will show in the cores but if you look at threads it should say 8

if it doesnt make sure you have hyperthreading enabled on your mobo bios
