I use it, but I'm currently at school and can't post a picture of the desktop.

I used to, but then I realised that it's kind of a gimick

How so?

Makes for a fancy view. :)

I've done it on a few friend's computers.

Hours of typing...

I found that all of the skins I installed weren't actually that practical, and they included high rated ones such as Honeycomb. To create a new icon, you had to do it yourself, which took time, and by the time you've done that, it's not even that rewarding imo.

It was quite rewarding for me, after I spent 14 hours creating my desktop. Lmao. I even had a few animations going on. Much frustration though trying to get everything I wanted and then getting it to match my background picture that I kept on changing. It looked very nice.

I was actually looking at re-installing Rainmeter after many years... I probably haven't used it in a good 5-6 years or so?

I wanted something to display all of my active network adapters.

Maybe you should look back into it :) Something like that is very easy to do, and you could actually probably go to like deviant art and download a skin that already has that kind of stuff in place and all you would have to do is very few or no minor tweaks to get it the way you want it.

For me, I like practicality, and to me it didn't seem like it'd be worth the effort as I only put temporary folders on my desktop, and everything else on my taskbar.
