um looking to add a ssd to my setup and was just wondering on what people think the best 250gb ssd going is.

IMO the pro is a little bit faster but nvm

I like my 850 evo. I have the 500gb version though, but, I imagine the quality is the same as the 250 version so I suggest that.

The intel PCIe drive is not value for money though. Its quick but too expensive for anybody other than Youtube tech channels

I have 2 850 EVOs 250GB they are great drives. You will probably be able to pick one up a bit cheaper on black friday.

Samsung Evo or pci, $250 is quite a good sum of money to spend on quality storage

1TB Samsung 850 EVO drives have a 10 year warranty.

 

Hard to beat that.  I wish my 1TB 840 had that much.
