Thanks, I'll try to reinstall the client.

If you are just doing the CPU then I would recommend just the chrome client. Your i3 will blow through workloads on that and you can also rack up a lot of WUs. I have a FX 4100 folding round the clock now on the chrome client until I decided to throw another GPU in there and the thing is getting near 15k point per day, so not bad. Yours should do around the same if not better around 20k is my guess.

So yeah, I've been folding for almost a month (not 24/7) but even though the Folding client shows a few points per day and I've finished 8 WU (yeah, I can't do much with an i3), is it normal to have zero points?

Post a screenshot of your F@H screen.. It might have just been bad WU's and it counted them as completed but never gave you points..

considering that i got 1 WU per day with my FX 4130, that's incredibly low for an i3.

It's a first gen Core i3 though xD.

I've seen it finish a few times, it finishes and then the status changes to send, and then starts the next one, and still, nothing.

This is what it does when it finishes, from the few times I've seen it finish anyway.

Have you checked the log to make sure the finished units were uploaded properly and the points were rewarded? Both of those events are usually recorded, so it would definitely tell you if its a client or server side issue.

Even though it completed the work units (100%), it looks like every single unit you've done has "failed" immediately before submitting the results, and that would be why you have zero points. I'm going to suggest either reinstalling the F@H client, or using NaCl instead. The benefit of NaCl is that it assigns much smaller work units.

considering that i got 1 WU per day with my FX 4130, that's incredibly low for an i3.

You use the chrome client?

Thanks, I'll try to reinstall the client.

If you are just doing the CPU then I would recommend just the chrome client. Your i3 will blow through workloads on that and you can also rack up a lot of WUs. I have a FX 4100 folding round the clock now on the chrome client until I decided to throw another GPU in there and the thing is getting near 15k point per day, so not bad. Yours should do around the same if not better around 20k is my guess.
