So what I would do is sell the parts one by one, you'll get more money that way and then sell each component for 60-80% of New price. Considering the main parts in this rig, the CPU and GPU are becoming dated that'll be a fair price.

Right.  As soon as the packages were opened you lost more than 20% of your value.

A10-7850k - $108.00 · eBay

128Gb ssd - $40

1TB WD Blue - $50

RVZ01-B - $90

I assume the motherboards a $60-100 bill.

R9 - $200

Psu - (substitute EVGA 600b, $30)

8gb Ram - $50-60

(all retail costs, brand new products, not used.)

Total: $500.

I'm thinking about selling one of my systems and I'm not sure what to ask for it? Never sold one before, just repurposed or gave to family. Its an A10-7850k with an R9 270x built in an RVZ01-B with 8gb Ram, 128Gb ssd and 1TB WD Blue. It cost about $1000 US to build and I'm thinking $800 because I barely used it.

Either put the system up for $1000 ONO or sell the parts individually for a few dollars less than new, you will get offers and then it's up to you how you get the $900. It's just like selling motorbikes, someone somewhere will pay the price you want to sell it for if it's fair. Instead of asking, just decide on which is the better option then proceed with it.

Pretty accurate but it depends if the buyer will do their research. So it is possible to ask for more.

I feel bad for the poor soul that over pays for these parts and trusts they all work accordingly.  If they pay over $600 it's a shame
