Battlefield 3 desktop shortcut with icon?

I don't want to go to my internet browser every time I want to play. Is there a way to make a desktop shortcut with the battlefield icon?]

I'm a noob.

Unfortunately Battlefield games need to use Battlelog since there isn't an in-game server browser. You'll be forced to use your Internet Browser every time you want to play the game. I hate it as well, it has various issues with the damn plug-in crap it wants you to install and hates adblocking extensions.

If you still want to make a shortcut so you don't have to see the Origin Client you can just go to where the game is located on your PC and right click its .exe and then go down the context menu to "Send To" and there should be a "Desktop" option to create a shortcut there.

I have my origin games on my D drive: D:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\, but yours is probably located on your main C drive.
