Okay. so you guys see that port at the very top? .w. The Squared off one near the HDMI. The crap is that? 3: I cant figure it out .w. and i feel like a derp for not knowing

Displayport. 

It has different versions, so could be 1.2 or 1.4 or whatever

That is DisplayPort, the VESA standard, the King of All Video Ports. It can adapt to every other video connector out there unless you're trying to go to S-video.

 

and it can drive 4K @60fps, which HDMI hasn't been able to do until recently...

.w.; D-does it have a Display port to VGA? I know whut a display port was.. I had no idea I had one. =w= But I need an adapter since the monitor I wanna use appears to only use VGA .w.

Usually DVI is adapted to vga. But you can adapt DisplayPort to vga with and adapter. Some gpu's come with a dvi-vga adapter.
