Motherboard + Ram question

Hey guys, quick question that I wanna confirm with you all,

Will a Gigabyte H110M-S2PV DDR3 work with a stick of Kingston HyperX fury 1*8gb 1866mhz 1.5v stick of memory?

Confident it will just wanna confirm!

most likely but the mobo will downclock the ram to 1600

these are the only kingston 8GB DIMMS that are qualified for that board as

per their website

 

1866

that said, like said above, prolly underclock to 1600 and possibly 1.35v

As long as they're both DDR3, it should work

as everyone has said, it most likely will just underclock the ram to 1600. 

 

Side note: I didn't know there would be others that use the word prolly @airdeano

Thanks everyone!I was pretty sure about the downclocking mainly was worried about it being 1.5v but it supports other 1.5v ram so I don't see why it wouldn't work:)
