I'm visiting Ireland, what things you recommend me to do?

Fictionvl

Worse as in hotter? I don't think it can get any hotter other than where I am :P

No way, probably a lot colder xD

Never been in Ireland but what would be the point of going there if he doesn't drink?

Beautiful scenery? Fascinating history?
I get this all the time IRL... Ireland is not just about booze.

Dublin is in the central-northern part of the country, but by 'Northern Ireland' I assume they meant the portion that is part of the United Kingdom… the far north-eastern corner of the island. Dublin is within the Republic of Ireland and I imagine it's a fantastic place to visit.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dublin#Climate

Average temperature information is on Wiki. It's going to seem quite cold to someone accustomed to the Middle East. But due to being surrounded by warm ocean currents, it's quite mild for how far north it is. I don't know if the stereotypes about rain are entirely true, but rainfall in some cities in Ireland averages as much in a month as Dubai gets all year (not that that's saying much).

Full disclosure: I've never visited Ireland myself. :P

I seriously appreciate the explanation! I guess I'll need to get to shopping hah, I need some winter clothes

To get to know Ireland.

And ofcourse visit the other national museums there..

Museums are great too @Fictionvl, I particularly enjoy the GPO (general post office) in Dublin city, that's worth a look.

There's also going to be a lot of stuff going on about the 100 year anniversary of the 1916 Easter Rising, when some Irish rebelled against their British oppressors hoping for independence. It was kind of a slaughter, actually, 1250 Irish rebels against 17,000 British army officers and policemen. Very interesting stuff.

I like Trinity college as well.

I get this all the time IRL... Ireland is not just about booze.

I wasn't talking about Ireland but about this:

Visit the Irish Whiskey museum and the Guinness Storehouse in Dublin, find a few decent restaurants and just chill there.

And no you don't have to drink.

Not muslim, but I think intoxicants are forbidden or something along those lines. @Fictionvl, enlighten us?

Correct, Intoxicants are forbidden because they will lead to other forbidden things, sex for example.

Reason for why Ireland, me and 5 other people got an earth map and a dart, one person gets in a chair, we spin the chair until said person gets dizzy, then he gets up, throws the dart, and it landed on Ireland, so Ireland it is. :)

I believe it's called halal, and it basically works similarly to "kosher" in Judaism. Certain foods and beverages, like pork and alcohol, are forbidden by Quranic law.

Haha, as good a reason as any!
