My firend told me that he does not want to overclock.

The K series of CPUs are designed to be overclocked and cost more. The non K series cost less and cannot be overclocked.

Because why get a overclockable CPU and a not that good overclocking motherboard..

B85

H87

H97

are not made for overclocking

Z87

Z97

Allow Overclocking

Correct mebut im pretty sure non z motherboards dont allow any sort of cpu overclocking what so ever

Then change the cpu to a i5 4460 or a i5 4690

Same performance eitherway

Getting a 4690k and not overclocking (even a mild oc) is like buying three Titan X's to watch netflix and chill

Why do you need that cooler if you aren't going to overclock?  Get a cheaper one at least

Q: Do I have a virus?!
A: If you didn't click a sketchy email, haven't left your computer physically open to attack, haven't downloaded anything sketchy/free, know that your software hasn't been exploited in a new hack, then the answer is: probably not.

Q: What email/VPN should I use?
A: Proton mail and VPN are the best for email and VPNs respectively. (They're free in a good way)

Q: How can I stay anonymous on the (deep/dark) webzz???....

A: By learning how to de-anonymize everyone else; if you can do that, then you know what to do for yourself.

Q: What Linux distro is best for x y z?

A: Lubuntu for things with little processing power, Ubuntu for normal PCs, and if you need to do anything else then it's best if you do the research yourself.

Q: Why is my Linux giving me x y z error?

A: Have you not googled it? Are you sure StackOverflow doesn't have an answer? Does the error tell you what's wrong? If the answer is no to all of those, message me.

While your competitive build is impressive. Keep in mind that we have another list of where to get the parts in Finland . Sense me and my friend live in the same country ,We have used PC Part picker as a reference. and the price may very hugely from country to country.

I was just indicating that your list was not well picked for the money you would be spending.

Well it HIS money , i mean i cant say nothing other than help him.

How about this Ridska, you asked for help on a build and you are the one creating the thread. We speak to you, we do not speak to your "friend". Until he makes the thread himself, then do not talk to us as if we are supposed to be talking to him and know what he wants and thinks. You are the source, if you want help then accept the help and stop re-routing the attention to someone whom we cannot even talk to.

As for your build however...

If he isn't over clocking and just wants a rig to game on. Cut the massive cooler, you don't need it. Stick with the stock cooler. Get rid of that over kill PSU and get something like, a EVGA 650W Gold+ Cert. You don't need the case fans, drop those. And with the money you're saving, get a 850 evo ssd instead.

Take the advice or leave it. We are talking to you, not your friend.

@Bread In The Box , why do you need that $90 cooler if you aren't going to overclock?  You can get a water cooler for that much xD

Your Right. Thanks for setting things straight . And I will ask him to cut the coller off .and The PSU part , well i told him to calculate the power usage and we ( mostly i ) were throwing ideas into the air. The case fans how ever , we think that we should have more outtakes than intakes.

and also i am sorry senpai , plz forgive

You do not want negative pressure in your build. You want positive pressure. 2 intakes and 1 exhaust will be perfectly fine.

My comment wasn't meant to be offensive of anyway, I just like getting straight to the point as you can tell.
