I literally know nothing about computer whats a good way to learn more?

I will put these in the order of what helped me the most :) go Youtubers! But I added a couple that I didn't watch untill after I built my PC including Linus' so yeah...

Newegg:

TekSyndicate:

LinusTechTips:

Austin Evans:

Carry Holzman:

Node:

and an honorable mention goes to NCIXcom's build guide that I have not posted up there ^^

I watched a few others from random people that aren't very well known as well.. But I can't remember their names so yeah...

Don't forget to watch all the different parts of peoples guides of the building a pc... for example Newegg's build guide has a few videos on it labeled part 1 etc.

I would also watch this about configuring your HDD and SSD correctly

(NCIXcom)

Just ask around on the forum if you get stuck or confused on something. People will love to help you here!

Also btw I would go for something like http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1tZ0o as people have suggested... It's an excellent build for your budget!

PROFILEYEAH

What do people even put in these things?

I'm not planing on building this for about 10 months

Just keep hanging around the forum. Ask questions but don't spam new topics.

10 months is a long time and you'll learn more quickly than you think.

If I hang around here will I learn the specs of stuff and find out what's the best?

Look at what questions and problems people have. Try to look it up and learn those things yourself. This is an easy way to learn things if you don't know where to start. It also gets you used to finding things out through research. If you see something mentioned you don't know, look it up.
