Is it worth custom sleeving cables my self, or just buying some cable mod ones?

It's something stetic, won't change your performance, it's all up to you

I say if you have patience and get a few extra tools to make it easier for yourself.

Just I started out with: Lighter, Snippers, 1/3rd extra sleeving + 1/3 extra heatshrink, Pin extractor whatever they're called, I got one for around $15... and a ruler fixed into my desk...

Have patience and if you really do want a perfect cable, don't do what I did... Take your time to measure everything, I just stuck the wire in the sleeve and tried to eye it... I am no good with that kind of stuff but I re-done most of my cables and they were decent enough...

I'm going to put a link to my PC specs which actually aren't my PC specs and I cry myself to sleep everyday so I can have these PC specs but I can't afford these PC specs so PC specs PC specs PC specs PC specs PC specs PC specs.

The answer is yes and no.

If you really like the looks of custom sleeves, then yes it is worth it.

If you really like the looks, and think you will enjoy a few hours of tedious cable modding, then the answer is no. DIY it. I did my cable for 10 bucks worth of paracord. Heatshrinkless method looks the best, which is what I did, but it requires more fiddling.

If you plan to do a lot of custom sleeving in the future and like to DIY a lot then it wouldn't be a bad idea since tools aren't cheap. Not to mention sleeving it yourself is a very time consuming process that can take a few days, just be ready for a lot of sore finger tips.

The kits they sell out there are worth the money you pay for them.
