Impending flood of 390s. which frankly is the best option for 1440 of the 3. More VRam, just as powerful, for the same price.

Asus strix 780 6GB version or MSI 970 4G gaming is better and faster ? for 1440p resolution ?

For 1440p the 780's VRAM and wider memory bus should help, however it is a bit slower than a GTX 970-not by too much however. It is however better for DirectX 9 games if you have any.

Bus width doesn't have to be as wide with this iteration of Delta Color Compression.

If you really want 1440p you'd be better off with a 980 ti or Fury. Or a 980 at the very least. (But I still find those hard to recommend at their current pricing.)

i have specificly Asus strix 780 6gb and msi gaming 4gb .im giving away a graphic card to my brother. and i wan to keep the better one for myself. so which is better and faster ?

no ati 390 :P

Ahhhh depends on the game but it seems to be in the 780's favor alot of the time for max fps, though average fps???? Probably also the 780

Actually....if I were to be buying a card today, it'd be the XFX 8GB 290X, and not the 390.

OFF TOPIC: Tell me where you found that 780 :o.

On Topic: 780 :) the extra vram will be handy but then again both would be outdone by the R9 390
