That AIO is fine.  I would get an air cooler at that price point though.

Nothing really wrong with the H80i but if you want more cooling performance you could go with a Corsair H105 for $95 or a H100i GTX for a little over budget at $105.

Honestly, 120mm can be beat by the Noctua D15 3: It and it would be cheaper.. He should try to bump up his budget a bit to get a 240/280mm rad since its not necessarily that much more

He also needs a better power supply. Minimum recommended on Sapphires website is a 750w http://pcpartpicker.com/part/seasonic-power-supply-ssr750rm

This build straight up, would not work with that power supply. It would kill the computer/start a fire.

Are you willing to settle at all? Because it would be in your best interest to get a better CPU. Perhaps you could get a step-down graphics card and invest more into your CPU?

I don't know why you want such an old CPU.  Also, I think you should go with a NH-D14/15 or Cryorig H5/H7 instead of the AIO.

Our lists give you an improved i5 for very little more. Could you increase your budget at all for the h100 from corsair?
