My current case, a Zalman Z1 Plus is now running 4 fans all of which were stock with the case and using daisy chain magic I somehow managed to connect all of the fans together and get everything going without any cables that weren't from the fans themselves. However now I plan on changing all of em except the 120mm exhaust fan and the ones I'm looking to get all have 3 pin connectors. Looking around in shops in my country I can't seem to find a fan hub only fan controlers (which I don't want to invest in) and extension cables. Some of these cables take 1 header from the motherboard and split them up to 3-9 different cables for fans. I was wondering if this has any negative impact on anything and whether an older micro ITX board from Gigabyte (H61M-D2H-USB3) can maintain the fans coming from a single connector on a motherboard. Thanks in advance!
