Best R9 390

So for a upcoming build i have decided that it would be best for me to get a R9 390 for my gpu, so i am wondering what the best brand/type is.

I would prefer it to have a backplate, as well as not having a ton of red in it.

I would also like to know if i am making a big mistake by going with the 390 for 1080p instead of the 970.

Sapphire Nitro, MSI or XFX.  Sapphire is the uncontested best out of all 3 though.

I have the Sapphire R9 390 with backplate, it is highly regarded as the best variant by many on this forum.

The cooler is amazing which is how you judge a 390 for the most part

Ok thanks for your responses, but when i put the nitro into my build, with the H440 it says it will block some drive bays and i am wondering if that will be a issue with the cards width and it hitting the side of the drive cage.

Nope.  Each drive cage is modular and individual.  You'll have to remove 1-2 at most.

Nope.  Each drive cage is modular and individual.  You'll have to remove 1-2 at most.
