maybe because the game isnt out yet and neither are nvidia's gameready drivers for it?!

we'll see when the game release in 3 weeks what kind of progress they made when the gameready driver for the game actually launch ;)

This is an AMD sponsored game therefore it's normal for them to have the lead they have had the code for the game longer, nvidia will catch up and overtake, they always do.

Maybe not the 970 though, it seem like it's weaker than the 390...but the 980 will beat the 390X and the 980ti will slap bitch anything including of course the furyX.

EDIT: lol at the comments on this page for the driver though...my god! no wonder AMD perform better...i played the beta with this driver and had no issue maybe it's because i use a kepler GPU (?)...ouch!

R9 390 - Battlefront is stupidly better on AMD's hardware for some reason.

Because AMD's hardware is not bottlenecked by driver overhead in that game, at least not on the maps available in the beta. The maps were basically tundras and wastelands, with not a lot of objects. AMD performance usually suffers in scenarios where there are a lot of objects on screen, like Siege of Shanghai in BF4.

DX11

Mantle

These are the screenshots DICE used to demonstrate performance benefit of Mantle. http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf4/news/view/bf4-mantle-live/

Nvidia achieves this level of performance with DX11.

For god's sake... The topic said nvidia only.. So why people still try to convince him to use AMD? You people own AMD stocks or something?

There is some reason to it, the AMD cards are better. So to make a topic that says "Help me pick a GPU, But not the best one!" You have to know that will get some responses.

If anyone asks you never saw me.
