What was your first mod. Mine was modding a Razer Arctosa and a Microsoft Sidewinder X8 mouse with carbon fiber.

This is the first computer I modded. Anyone here old enough to remember a Zip Drive?
All Zip drives should be tossed in a big pit and incinerated!

I roll with sigs off so I have no idea what you're advertising.

Well, my first mod was my need to fit a second hard drive in my old laptop since i threw in a ssd, so i took out the optical drive, shredded the guts out and used the enclosure along with some custom made cables and stuff to fit it in there, it was also hot-swapable :)) i know there are caddys for things like this but i find them very expensive and useless, since i like to make my own things, also i modded my mouse because i didn't like the fact that it had blue leds and my keyboard was green so i soldered new ones in place, also i put in some weights, i was like a feather before, now with the new weight, i can finally rule as a sniper in BF3, also gives way more control...

Codename: HighFlyer, specs:  CPU: i5 2500k cooled by a H70ish(2 rad)   Mobo: MSI MPower Z77   GPUs: Gigabyte GTX 660 OC 1150 MHZ core, 3150 memory both   RAM: Corsair Vengeance 16G @1600mhz   SSD: ADATA Premier Pro sx900 / HDD Seagate Barracuda 1TB/Samsung 1TB   Power supply: Corsair RM650 80+ Gold   Case Corsair Carbide 500R   5.4 ghz achieved on the good old 2500k, may it rest in peace. Current daily OC is 4.8 @1.41 v

That is a nice mod. Maybe someone in here could use the idea for his/her laptop if needed. :)

I'm working on my first case mod now. i'm trying to replace the bottom handle s on my bitfenix prodigy with a set of lian li SD-01B rubberized feet as well as add a PSU bracket extender.i got a replacement one from my coolermaster elite 120 advanced. i will post pics of my success or failure soon.

My first mod was recently when I needed to cut some HHD bays out so I could fit my 6990 into my old case. (I have a 650D now).
Pretty cool. What did you use to cut it ? A dremel ?

First mod was my Xbox 360 in Desert Digi-Cam. This was a few years ago now and im going to be getting back into painting. Its something im decent at and know I can become more skillful at. My plan is to restore older generation consoles and re-paint them so they look new. Ive got two GBA's and one GBA SP lined up. If I get those done I plan to look for a Slim PS2 and do a white gloss with red accents, like the logo. :)

Yeah. It will work just fine. I've got the same carbon fiber as the one on the link. Because the glossy is too shiny and it will probably get fingerprints all over it :(

My first mod I ever did was back in 2005 when I bought a Cooler Master Mystique 632 mid tower and it had no side window for the side panel, so I cute my own window for it :)

my first mod was on a antec 902 i painted it and put a window in it i will look for the pics later.
