Since you keep breaking your IEMs, I don't see why you wouldn't go buy something with a removable cable. Also, I hope you are aware that the GR07 is an over ear pair of in ears.

I wear over ear all the time, and honestly, it's a more subtle look than regular in ears. The cable only really shows up when it's coming down the front of your neck (With over ear, you can wear them with the cable behind, or in front, either one is fine, just making sure you're aware). Anyway, over ear cabling is a more comfortable, more durable, and more low profile way of doing it. Particularly if you get a pair of Shures, or something of the "super ergonomic" style. I don't see what your aversion to it is, if you've never tried it. At the very least, you could go get some SE215 off amazon, and give them a go. If you don't like them, then you can very easily return them. If you do like them, then keep them.

Also, the over ear IEMs that have a memory wire at the earpiece tend to be more durable than those that don't since the memory wire effectively acts as a super long stress relief.

Whoops, guess I'll try them and if I don't like them I'll return them, if I do like them may trade them out for SE-215's.

The GR07 is supposed to be a very good in ear for the price, at least, according to Xtroria. I think you'll like over ear more than you think you will. Also, the GR07 looks to have a lower profile cable than the Shure one, so you may want to take a look at some of the offerings from somewhere like effect audio (they have cables that range in price from $40-$1,000)

Do you think they are a different OEM of the NVX E10S? They look identical.

@OP, IDK about them for durability, mine are looking like they will have problems in a few months

I don't daily in ears but if I did and had to rely on them I would sugru every failure point the joint to the jack, volume control and the earphone itself

the aesthetics are 100% your skill with the stuff

Removable cables literally solve every one of those issues.

Not what I wanted to hear! They looked more durable then my old IEM's in the places that matter so I thought they would be good. How was the sound on yours? Since they are similar or identical?

Looks like mine are a model below. I really like them, they sound great. I'll take some pics of the problem areas

RHA has been getting pretty good rep in the durability department, what with their steel/aluminum housings and plentiful use of steel/aluminum. Also, since they use a memory wire you get all the positives (and, to some, negatives) associated with that. Unfortunately, none of their IEMs have removable cables.

I think that Fostex has a cable down IEM, with MMCX connectors (The same style as Shure) and I think they are relatively cheap. You might want to look into those, since it's pretty much what you're looking for (I only just remembered that they exist...)

Honestly I would go with RHA... maybe JVC HA-FXT90s as well. I have a pair of Se-215s and while they are nice build quality and comfort (using Comply tips) wise, the sound quality is a good notch below similarly priced offerings.

edit: The Fostex posted above also seem like a good option
