While playing games on my pc it randomly switched off and didn't have power to it. Then after about a minute it regained power and is working perfectly. Anyone know what caused it?

Many factors could have caused it.

PSU/CPU FAN/HEAT POOLING IN CASE MAKING UNSTABLE/TEMPS/UNSTABLE MEMORY/EVEN A SOFTWARE CONFLICT

If you're running Windows 10. I had the same issue recently, were my system would shut down randomly.

In my case, Windows had made an automatic update that were colliding with (probably) my Nvidia drivers.

If this is the case, go into settings > updates and security > Windows Update > advanced options > Show update history > uninstall updates

In your case, I think your PC ran through a proper shut down cycle. Meaning Windows did prepare itself to update and shutdown. What I think the problem the original poster had was that the computer completely shut downed without going through the shut down cycle. Meaning the PC essentially lost power suddenly.
