Overclocking my Amd FX9590 problems!

Hi!

Im trying to OC my FX9590 but somehow it wont work.

With Stock Setting 4,7Ghz 5Ghz Turbo everything is fine ( even when I set Turbo Core to 6 Cores ) but when I disable Amd Turbo Core and set the base Clock to 4,8Ghz I start getting freezes almost immediately

I did try give it more voltage ( Stock Maximum 1.52V ) starting from 1.52V up to 1.6V and still getting freezes.

Any ideas?

You shouldn't even touch the clock speed the CPU is bad enough as it is

What cooler is it

Tip to the people who are going to respond (I can't since I don't have experience with that chip): only post if you're going to actually help OP with their issue and not say "just switch to Intel lel"

How do the temps look?

What kind of cooling solution do you have?

And what kind of motherboard do you have?

And what were you thinking getting that CPU..

You can get away with increasing but don't expect any good yields out of overclocking something that's pre overclocked

Ehm I dont really believe this but ok

he's right, those chips are just cherry picked factory overclocked FX-8350...most of them are already pushed to the limit out of the box.
