Posted October 25, 2015 At this budget you should be comparing the i3 4170 or the i3 6100 to the fx 6300 not the G3258 to the Fx 6300. The G3258 is way cheaper. For gaming the i3 will do better for video editing it really depends sometimes the FX is better and sometimes the i3 is. For streaming generally the FX is better. Posted October 25, 2015 For editing and animation, the more cores, the better. For gaming, the more powerful cores, the better. So it's always a compromise unless you get an i7 with lots of powerful cores....
