390X, it's more comparable to the 980 in terms of performance.

A 390 would also be fine in this situation (All the questions relating  your new build can be compiled into one thread and put into new builds and planning section you know :P)

390X is by far superior

Usually its a comparison between the 390(non-x) and the 970. Which the 390 wins.

The 390x and the 970 is hardly a comparison, the 390x blows it out of the water

umm 390x hands down, theres not even a comparison in performance

390X all the way. Also, instead of posting multiple threads for each aspect of your build, just post one thread for your entire build.

390X, it's as powerful as a 980. If you want something better than the 970 at a similar price, get the 390 non-x.

Also, just compile all your questions into one thread in future, please :)

The 390x is in a diff price bracket so there's no comparison but if its 390 to 970 then its more about software / support. Speed wise they're pretty much the same but 390 has 8 gigs of vRAM and 970 only has 4 gigs (3.5 + 0.5)
