Old soundcard

When I was looking through my old PC stuff I found an old soundcard - Creative Sound blaster Live!

I was wondering if the sound they produced would be better than the onboard solution. I'm guessing it would be similar.

The sound blaster live was as awesome card, I have one around here somewhere.  I don't think they necessarily sound better than todays on-board solutions. But try and see. you have nothing to loose.

Grammar and spelling is not indicative of intelligence/knowledge.  Not having the same opinion does not always mean lack of understanding.

I have one of these cards and tried to run it but i can't find drivers anywhere...

 

So you have drivers for it?

The drivers on their page go up to Win XP (x64), but I heard there are some 3rd party drivers for Win7
