Hello :)

Vessel videos keep freezing while playing.

Info:

Mozilla Firefox v41.0.2

Windows 10 Pro x64

I5-4670k

8Gb ddr3

840 Evo

r9 280x

To add: It's a paid service, don't show adds on a fking paid service, even on mobile.

I agree with everyone else, the ads are completely ridiculous. Why would you have them on a paid service?! Even if you need them, don't have them be so shitty as well :/

i agree, but they are only 3 seconds long, i cant complain since i am getting vessel for free though

Hmmm... Instead of complaining about ads, I will try and help.

 

Before making any assumptions of the Vessel Servers being slow, lets look at Firefox.

    Have you tried to disable Hardware Acceleration?

    Have you cleared you Cache?

    

 

Try doing both of those (If you haven't already).

Yeah, but If you were paying you would be pissed because of the ads. We've asked here before, and most people aren't bothered if they don't get videos a week early after their free year has ended. They said that there is no point paying for it.

Edge works fine, but i don't like to open up a separate browser for just vessel.

I've just cleared my cahce, hardware accel is already disabled bcoz it makes all kinds of wierd artifacts while browsing bcoz shitty Asus r9 280x.#FuckAMD

My connection is 50mbit down 5mbit up, i think it should be fine.

And for you guys with ad problems just use uBlock origin(far superior to adblock)

Vessel always freezes for me after watching a vid for more than 5 minutes... Basically given up on vessel now; impossible to watch videos...

now it prebuffers videos like youtube does, before clearing cache it didn't.

Like why does web cache affect vessel videos?

Cache holds files that your browser downloads, (Not you, the browser), in order to make it seem faster. But when the Cache gets filled, the browser doesn't have enough space to download say the Audio + Video Stream, and it only downloads it in parts.
