Can't overclock after BIOS update

Hello,

I'm unable to overclock my G3258 after I updated the BIOS of my Asrock H81M-ITX motherboard. I had to update it since I couldn't install Windows 10 without the update and since then, I can't get my CPU back up to 4.0 Ghz.

what i suspect most likely the newer BIOS locks the OC ability of the H81 board

 

there was a incident where Intel was not happy that mobo manufacturers made BIOS which allow OC on non-Z boards

Maybe, but It worked well before at 4.0 Ghz.
