in 3-4 years maybe you'll notice 30$ less in your pocket. AMD don't use that much more power as people would have you believe. 390 uses 80W more than a 970

Luke did it in Scrapyard wars on a Antec VP 500W IIRC.

The S12II will be able to handle a 390 no issues - unless you have an FX processor or are planning on going crazy with power target/voltage on the GPU you'll be fine - you'll likely get 1100 core with ease at stock voltage and power

the brother of my bestfriend's cousin's boyfriend used to say...Ha I'm joking...Sapphire has great quality ,and stock clocking isn't an issue, You can OC as you want ,but this card can't go higher than 1200,so no matter which brand actually. This sapphire one seems doesn't include a backplate but this could be useful because it looks cool and easy to clean.

One other possible issue: Case size

Heres my case: Aerocool GT Advanced Black

 

 

Here's the size from the sapphire website: 308 X 127 X 42.3 Dimension /mm

I think there will be problems fitting the card here, since after 293mm, the cage(?) will be in the way.

I haven't seen the card in person, any thoughts on this ?

Opened my case. See that removing the case might not be possible.

Grabbed a ruler. Did some measurement. See that the card might fit.

 

I think it will fit, the cables will need to be rearranged though.

Anyway, aside from the hype/excitement/whatever I'm feeling, I think I'm fine with this card.  :lol:

It's a beast - I'd be surprised if you weren't excited for it. I wish I could buy one ._.
