Like what?

An example I use it for is symbolic links for my steam games so they don't save on my ssd despite being programmed to do so, there are many things you can do, but you can also f up things if your careless

The save folders don't always transfer properly, and I know how to use the links so I have no reason to use steams tools to fix it, though I was just trying to give an example so the op would have an idea about cmd's uses.

The thing I do most in Windows with it are internet connection test with "ping <site>" command and finding PCs internal IP for router troubleshooting. Can't remember command for that now.

On Linux I use console (same thing) to update and install stuff which don't have mainstream support.
