PSU confusion. PSU calculators differ.

I'm about to build a new PC but I'm not sure how much wattage I need.
I have tried using two power supply calculators but there is a huge difference in the result (725w vs. 1157w).

My build:

Fractal Design Define R5
Acer Predator X34 G-Sync Curved
MSI Z170A GAMING PRO
Intel Core i7-6700K
NZXT Kraken X41
2x (SLI) MSI GeForce GTX 980Ti LIGHTNING 6GB
Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 2133MHz C13 16GB (2x8GB)
Samsung 512GB 850 Pro Series Solid State Disk
+1 Internal DVD/CD reader
I plan on overclocking the cpu and the gpu's.

When using http://outervision.com/power-supply-calculator I get the following results:
Load Wattage:1107 W
Recommended UPS rating:2000 VA
Recommended PSU Wattage:1157 W

When using http://www.msi.com/power-supply-calculator I get this result:
Your recommended minimum power supply is : 725 Watts!

So you can understand my confusion.. I may have filled in the information wrong, missed something or one of them is showing the wrong result.
I was thinking about going with EVGA 120-G2-1000-XR 80 PLUS GOLD 1000 W, is that enough or do I need to go higher?

Any other thoughts or suggestions on the build is also appreciated

Thanks!

It will probably be around 750w not 1150w, the other one is retarded.

I'd take a PSU with at least 850W, but if you can splurge for the 1kW may as well take that.

You'd just be fine with a 850W G2. some PSU calculators will probably tell you you need a AX860i to run a pair of LED strips next. or an AX1500i to run an i3 office machine.

with the dual 980tis

you def need a minimum 800-850 watts without any extreme OC

unless you are doing LN2 cooling

then you do need excess of 1K watts PSU

Thanks for the help, guys! I'm going with Evga g2 1000w.

Anyone got any other thoughts on the build? I'm ordering in a day or two so any last advice would be very helpful.

just 1 thing, get a bigger CPU cooler, either a honking great dual tower air cooler (like the Cryorig R1 Ultimate, Bequiet! Dark rock pro 3, or Noctua D14/D15), or a 240/280mm AIO. as that X41 is about as only about good as a $50 air cooler like the Cryorig H5
