Pentium and i3...

A lot of people don't choose a Pentium CPU and get a i3 CPU because some games can't play with 2 core but Pentium is 2 core and i3 also...

 

So...what is the difference between Pentium and i3??

The i3 has hyperthreading and performs better in general.

Pentium = 2 cores

i3 = 2 cores with hyperthreading (so basically 4 threads/cores/whatever you want to call them)

As I've said before, hyperthreading is the difference between games being unplayable (Pentium G3258) and butter smooth gameplay (i3)

Celeron - Pentium - Core i3 - Core i5 - Core i7

Then theres the Xeon for different workloads
