you know... you could also suggest the person to get a solution thats much more expensive, and may not be as practical.

I have the hyper x cloud 1 and i love the sound and mic. I would get the 2 for better-ness

I have a cheaper model of the Logitech ones, looks exactly the same, except they've got red trim. Personally, I find the headband to be somewhat uncomfortable. The padding isn't really thick/soft enough, so after wearing it for a while, it feels a bit like a sharp edge is digging into the top of my head. Also, I don't find them to be anything special, but I would hope the more expensive model is better. The headband on those Corsairs looks a lot nicer though, but it's impossible to know without wearing them. Everybody has a different head

because some people (including me) dont like two seperate wires going down, and yes, because a modmic is $50 in mic alone, for just $20 more you have an entire hyperx cloud with accessories, and a nice braided cable.

 

besides, if you're not using the mic for anything professional, the cloud mic MORE than suffices.
