Is this good ASIC?

Is this good ASIC for a GTX 960? I know that a 80% ASIC 980ti K|ngP|n will set you back ~1000$ but I don't know if its different for 960s.

It's fundamentally the same, really.

 

All that changes is the quality of the silicon wafer in the GPU. That's all ASIC quality is; the more impure the silicon wafer is, the lower percentage you get. It doesn't really affect performance that much at all.

 

But yeah, that's a high ASIC rating.

81% is not bad, but Asic has more impact on marketing than on overclocking results.

my ASIC quality is pretty bad, 65.5% low ASIC quality better for water cooling? That just seems really counter-intuitive.

ASIC is pretty much meaningless. I have two of the same cards, one around 70% and the other above 80% and the one at 70% actually overclocks better.

my asus 7950 has an asic quality of approx. 60 percent. LOL
