Did some research in the forum before posting. could not find it.

 

So which way would you go ? i will be using i7 intel core 4770k

Are you set on Nvidia??

 

If not then seriously wait until AMD's 9000 series cards :P

The ASUS card has a re-designed PCB as well. So you'll get more efficiency and lower heat output from other components.

The ASUS card has a re-designed PCB as well. So you'll get more efficiency and lower heat output from other components.

Although if he wants to water cool later on...

 

Edit: I guess they generally do release waterblocks for the DCU2 cards

Just get the cheapest dual/triple fan cooler 770 or look at a 7970.

The higher price is not worth the small performance gain considering you should be overclocking it anyway.

if you're watercooling down the road then go EVGA also they have the best costumer service i have ever spoken with. The asus card will perform better temperature wise but if you're going water then it doesn't really matter anyways.

Well, I would wait if possible but if not I prefer the Asus card.

It will depend on the 9XXX series on if it drops price and by how much.
