Anything bigger than 140mm tends to have little to no static pressure. Good for moving air in an open environment, but not through rads or over HDD cages and the like.

This is my exact problem. 

 

I have trhe Phanteks Enthoo ITX, and a 200mm in the front. It does not push air through the hard drives/psu/to the GPU. At all.

Size, air pressure, compability. 200mm fan is really only good as semi-passive intake where it has open area to blow air to. I have 200mm intake and I'm happy with it. But I won't be looking out for another case with 200mm slot when doing upgrade. 2x140mm is quite enough.
