Hello, I am planning to do some upgrades on a rig i build a short time ago, and one of those is a ram upgrade. I want to add two more 8 gig dimms and im wondering if I can just buy the exact same dimms i purchased when I started my rig? would that work? These are the dimms I purchased.

Yes, it will. RAM is pretty much mix and match as long as it's the same form factor.

not really, CAS and other timings have to be the same or it can start to get really wonky

I'm way too curious what happens when you actually download it, but I'm also way too scared it will instantly kill my PC :P

If it's the exact same kit then it should be fine.
