need a new cellphone-upgrading

Hi, I am looking to get a new phone. I have verizon and am eligible for a new upgrade. It looks like I have a few different options to choose from. I've only ever had a single smartphone before and that was the Motorola Droid Maxx XT1080. Unfortunately it got busted...

 

It looks like I can pick between another droid maxx xt1080, moto x gen2, htc desire 626 526 or 612, lg g vista, droid mini, microsoft lumia 735, lg lancet, iphone 5s, or a galaxy core prime. 

 

I'm looking for a phone that is fast yet has a decent battery life. My droid maxx xt1080 at first was pretty sweet, though recently it felt slow since about 2 of their big updates ago (even though I kept as few things as possible running), although it had a really decent battery life. Also I liked the screen size and resolution. I found myself reading a lot of pdf's on it and constantly googling stuff or watching youtube instructional videos etc...

 

Anyways I'm looking for some advice on picking a new phone. I believe these are my only options but I could be wrong. Thanks in advance.

mhh well i don't know where you Exactly live but the moto x play has great battery life with great screen and stuff its a kinda gaming phone also i wouldn't go for the iphone the galaxy core prime is kinda shit and if you have the choice the moto x 2014 is great since i own it but has moderate battery life, the lg G4s is also a option (or LG G3 (s))
