Swapping Audio output from Left to Right (Headphones)

Arvizal

So I recently bought this new pair of headphones, and the audio channels are swapped. Basically, sounds that SHOULD be coming out of the right ear are coming out of the left ear, and vice versa. I really don't want to open up and swap the wires in the headphones, but since I've read that you can switch the front panel audio jack's wiring on the motherboard to reverse the outputs, I was wondering if that's a legitimate possibility. I'm not feeling too well today so apologies if this post didn't make much sense.

Thanks in advance!

I agree, there is really no other way in my opinion.

Definitely not on backwards, they have the R/L on the earcups. I've found a few others with this issue, but no clear fix.

Try changing the default format to something else and then back to which everyone you want.

(sound-> playback -> properties -> advanced tab)

Sometimes my headphones randomly do that too and this seems like the only way to fix them.

Heh, odd thing is, these are the Logitech G430s. I wouldn't consider them shit!

It seems to work at the moment, and I'm guessing I'll have to do that once in a while just like you do. Thanks!

If it keeps happening just contact logitech, they are normally pretty good at sorting stuff out

Glad I could help. Although I wish I had a more permanent solution both for myself and for you. Also sometimes you might not notice that the audio has switched so just keep that in mind.
