Posted October 7, 2015 Hey I am a studying currently studying computer games programming and am looking for a laptop/tablet mainly for note taking and general internet browsing. My only real requirement is that it needs to be small so I can carry it around easily and I have a maximum of £500 to spend. I was looking at the Surface 3 (not the Pro) but I am unsure about the CPU. Anyone have any experience with it? Or maybe a better alternative? Thanks for any advice! Posted October 7, 2015 The new surface pro 4 has the new pen that you can write down your notes digitally or type if you want either choice. Compare to surface 3, it has more pixel and better pen. They also have intel new skylake chips too. If all you use computer for note taking and internet browsing, then surface pro 4 might be good for you. If you need more power in the GPU and stuff like that, I would suggest investing more into the laptop side I own alienware computer XPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP
 Posted October 7, 2015 I have the surface 3, it's a nice computer, but the CPU is a little meh since it tops out at 100% if you're watching a 1080p60 stream. Blasphemy Like no man no no say what you will, but my macbook pro is awesome. nice long battery, clean and really simple os, somewhat decent specs. and the aluminum finish looks alot better than the plastic of windows laptops. and yeah, there is no gaming on a mac. that is why i have a desktop.
