What should I play first?

I picked up 2 games for my playstation 3 today, those games are assasins creed 3 and metal gear solid 4. I dont know what I should play first!

have you played mgs 1-3? if not, go play them before mgs4 , mgs4 wont make anysense without playing those ones first, mgs is very cinematic

Assassin's Creed 3.  

 

I've played/beaten MGS4, but it's the only one in the series I've played so far.  It's not easy to pick up on the story and some parts don't make sense.  Play some of the older MGS games first.
