Hello , My name is Lior , saw a whole bunch of videos made by linus to get myself a new PC , but im not that experienced so i decided to pick myself a pre-built.
this is actually like a personal build but that some company here in my country recommends for this and this price tags.
This one is actually really expensive but (I think) that money is not an issue so im getting it , please dont provide tips like , you can get this and this for less money and stuff because I want the best of the best.
I just wanna know , if it is really a good PC that can hold high end games for something like 5 years. Games like : Star wars Battlefront , Need for speed 2015 and more...
My Asus ROG laptop wont hold this games too good.
I was gonna get a 4K 23'' monitor , samsung u24E590D , but i think it wont be too good due to the fact 4K games are super hard to run and im afraid it will like burn the Graphics card up or something.. but im still probably gonna get it even if ill only use it for movies or something i really want such a monitor I just need to know if you think this computer will hold 4K gaming like a boss ;)
Also , just a little " Heads Up " , im still learning all these hardware stuff with linus videos and more aside of that , so I will probably wont understand much of the " Hardware Language " , speak to me like im alittle better than a newbie please :)

Ok , here comes the build :

intel proccessor : Intel Core i7 5960X 3.0Ghz 20MB L3 Cache s2011-3 - Box

CPU Cooling : Corsair Hydro H100i Extreme Performance CPU Cooler

Mother board : Asus SABERTOOTH X99 LGA2011-3, IntelX99,DDR4,3xPCI-E

Memory : Corsair Vengeance LPX 4x4GB DDR4 3000Mhz CL15 Kit

Graphics card : Gigabyte GTX980 Ti G1 GAMING 6GB GDDR5 2xDVI HDMI 3xDP PCI-E

Hard Drive : Western Digital Caviar Black WD3003FZEX 3TB Sata III

SSD Drive : Corsair Neutron XT CSSD-N480GBXT 480GB SSD Sata III MLC Retail

DVD Burner : LG BH16NS40 Blue-Ray Writer Black Sata

Power provider : Antec 1000W Active PFC Modular 80+ PLATINUM HCP-1000 PSU

Case : Corsair Vengeance C70 Gunmetal Black Case No PSU

Answers on the Build Plan Thread Recommendations
Build Plan Thread Recommendations

1. Budget & Location

5K , something like that but remember that parts are a little bit more expensive here than in Canada or US , so something like 4K

2. Aim

High End Gaming , ultra graphics , maybe even with 4K resolution.

3. Monitors

Just one , I would love to use more but I have a super small room :P

4. Peripherals

Ive aleardy picked a keyboard and a mice , I picked a probably lame speakers so - Speakers , for a start , and im probably gonna get win10 too. Getting samsung u24E590D monitor.

5. Why are you upgrading?

I have an ROG laptop with gtx 765M , and its much worse than the gtx 765 , its like gtx 500-600 or something and its running medium graphics BF4 on like 40-50 FPS , low on 60 , new games coming out soon and i would like to run everything :P , and for a few years ahead.

You will have to cut down on some settings for 60 fps, other than that your fine

Generally, for 4K gaming at decent settings you will want two 980TIs in SLI. You could do with just one, you would need to turn down settings though.

I'll look into something like this...

Monitor: Asus ROG Swift PG278Q

  • G-SYNC
  • 144hz (effectively showing 144 frames per second)
  • 1 ms delay
  • 1440p at 27"

CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-U14S

  • Beats that Corsair H100i in terms of price and noise levels

Motherboard: Asus Z170 Pro Gaming

Ram: Some DDR4 16GB kit

  • 16GB is overkill but hey, you have the budget lol

GPU: 2x MSI GTX 980 Ti

SSD: Samsung 250GB 850 Evo Series

HDD: Seagate 3TB 7200rpm 64mb cache

Case: Fractal Design Define R5

PSU: Seasonic X-850W

Just google the labels I posted bud. Gotta go sleep. Got school early tomorrow hehe. They're very famous parts anyways. You shouldn't have a hard time. :)

i would get the kingpin 980 ti from evga or this one:

EVGA 06G-P4-4998-KR

keep in mind, these two cards require more than 250w of power. something along the lines of 300w. plan accordingly.

edit:

if you're going to go with the evga video cards above in x2 sli, i would recommend a 1050w power supply as they consume more power when overclocked. they are designed to draw in 300w, not 250w.

edit:

if money isn't an issue, i would go with the 6700k for your build. especially if you're going x2 980 ti in sli
