This is good! The only thing I would change is to buy an overclocking ready board and upgrade the CPU to an overclock-able one in the future.

Not really needed tho. The 4460 is more than enough these days!

Don't bother buying an i5 4690k unless you are willing to overclock. ATM you build is looking good, don't waste money on a Z97 or Z87 board if you have a locked i5. Keep the build how it is unless you want to OC man.

Unless he ever upgrades to an i7 for yolo

Will it be expensive

updated the post! Not really necessary as @Goodman2265 said. Do it if you are willing to overclock!

It's decent but go for a ssd, too. Maybe the Kingston SSDNow V300 240GB.

Laptop 1: Macbook Pro 14" M3 Pro | MacOS 15.x

Laptop 2: Razer Blade 15" Base 2021 | Windows 11/Pop! OS 22.04

Better off going with an i5 4460 and H81 board. You don't need 16GB of RAM, 8GB is fine. Swap out the WD Black to a Seagate Barracuda to save money. 750W PSU isn't needed, 600W is enough. That's also a very expensive case if you're wanting to prioritise performance.

HI, I'm building my first PC and I'm kind of a noob. Mostly All I'll do with this build is gaming. My budget is $850. I want my build to run GTA V 1080p Almost Max settings with 60+Fps

i think your good but i might change the power supply to a gold rated one and just go with 16gb of 1866 with as low CAS is possible while still being in your budget

Edit:  also like he said go with a i5 and h81 board since a i5 will not run as hot as the amd chip

I really love the look of H440, and I meant to go with 8gb ram it might've been a glitch

This is what you'd want to go for. Though, you'd be better off switching the PSU back to the B2 in the first post, as the NEX (B1, G1) series aren't great.

Didn't know much about the EVGA PSU's except they're generally better than most PSU's in their price range.
