So we all know how stupidly hard it is to put the space bar in on the new Dell laptops that have Windows 8 and island keys (they're extremely annoying. Even most PC repair places have issues with it because it has like 12 connectors instead of the usual 4 a laptop should have). Me, being a superstitious LinusTechTips follower, having spent about 30 minutes trying to replace my space bar (I had an issue with a the gosh darn key sticking), relized my feet were cold. So, I went upstairs, put on some socks, saw my sandals lying on the floor, put them on for fun, and went downstairs.

 

In short, once I put the sandals on, I literally felt like I could fix this issue. And sure enough, it worked! I correctly placed my space bar in. So folks, if you're having an issue with your computer, just #SocksAndSandals it.

I wear sandals and socks. That's sandals with socks over them and the foot collectively.

 

For bonus points my jeans can get tucked into them and my shirt into my jeans to create a complete onesie (head excluded). It's quite delightful if you let it be.

Tip to those that are new on LTT forum- quote a post so that the person you are quoting gets a notification, otherwise they'll have no idea that you did. You can also use a tag such as @Ryoutarou97 (replace my username with anyone's. You should get a dropdown after you type the "@")to send a notification, but quoting is preferable.

 

Feel free to PM me about absolutely anything be it tech, math, literature, etc. I'll try my best to help. I'm currently looking for a cheap used build for around $25 to set up as a home server if anyone is selling.

 

If you are a native speaker please use proper English if you can. Punctuation, capitalization, and spelling are as important to making your message readable as proper night theme formatting is.

 

My build is fully operational, but won't be posted until after I get a GPU in it and the case arted up.
