You probably could stand on it, my iPad 4 has taken SUCH a beating, I have genuinely thrown it in the air and punched it really hard and sent it flying into a wall without any case on, and there is not a single scratch on the damn thing also dropped it down the stairs a few times, and I honestly just toss it onto the floor, bed etc and it often falls onto the floor I have NO idea how people manage to break them

Old joke being old, I wouldn't be surprised if this became a reality. With the 3D Touch sensors there I'm sure there's a way to implement their force measurement for a rough scale type application. Maybe from the 1-500g range or something. That'd be handy.
