What version of Windows? 3 won't run well without tweaking on 7, or 8.1 but I hear 10 is OK.

I find that statement bull, I personally own Fallout 3 and NV with Windows 7, they both run perfectly fine and I managed to mod the living crap out of them without a hitch.

Did I say NV? No I didn't... If you play 3 using Windows 7 you have imported the files required or someone did it for you. Common knowledge 3 is not optimized for 7 and 8.1.

If anyone asks you never saw me.

Won't even load, if you're using Steam. There is a few guide s that walk you through the changes and files you have to import. But too much of a pain for me.

Both 3 and NV work first time on 7/8.1 and 10.

Yeah i have played them on all 3.

All I did was download the GOTY version on Steam and it work perfectly fine on Windows 7. I didn't have to change anything, nor did anyone do it for me.

I think it'll do fine, it's an 8 year old game by now. Just see if you run into any crashes, the game is poorly coded and can run into errors. There are guides out on how to fix those crashes.

So explain how my two month old computer would not even open the launcher in Windows 8.1 or 10 when I downloaded Fallout 3 off steam? Explain why there are COUNTLESS guides, walk throughs, and YouTube videos that help you make Fallout 3 work on Windows 7, 8.1, or 10.

Come on, you seem to know everything, explain how me and THOUSANDS of people are not able to simply download Fallout 3 off Steam and play it, but are somehow imagining it...

If anyone asks you never saw me.

Not sure how to explain it, I know for a fact that my brother-in-law, who owns both GOTY versions of New Vegas and 3, and Windows 8.1, cannot get those games to run on Win 8.1. It crashes no matter what he has done and he did all possible "fixes/guides/tweaks" to get the games to stop crashing instantly.

For me though, they ran perfectly fine. Now I'm not saying that my game will work as smoothly as everyone elses but it worked perfectly for me no hassle. Calm down and accept facts.

I will probably not reply to the next message as it seems you have an issue to accept this. So I'll help by not replying to your next message. Have a nice day!
