Custom curve CPU fan?

Go to solution Solved by NeatSquidYT,

BIOS

Hi everyone,

Does any of you know whether it is possible to create a custom curve for the CPU fan? (And how)

I'm running a xeon 1231v3 at 40C, and I would like it to be less noisy (I don't mind slightly higher temps).

The cooler is a CM Hyper 212+.

Thanks :)

What motherboard are you using? I know some ASUS motherboards have the capebility to set your own fan curve using their software, which I forget the name of.

I have the MSI z97s SLI krait edition.

I know, I know. I had a g3258 before and the motherboard just looks sexy as hell (IMO) which is nice if you have a windowed case which sits on your desk (which I do).
