best processor

should i go for xenon or a i5 

and i need a good monitor too

its Xeon not Xenon, get i5 if you just want to do gaming, if you streaming get i7

xeon for servering

 

xeons are not overclockable. the K and X on the end of the names of the other three CPUs indicate unlocked clock speeds and the extreme edition, respectively.

Xeon 1231v3 is a hyperthreaded i5 but not unlocked so if you want overclockability go with an unlocked i5, also, the processor doesn't have a *MASSIVE* effect on games, the graphics card does.

It's not too much at all. Those processors are perfect for gaming.

If it's just for gaming, stick with the Core i5. An overclocked i5 is a better gaming chip than a locked Xeon, even if only by a bit.

what i mean by leftover perfomance is, the game isnt gonna use all the Performance which means its such a waste, why not get a cheaper one ? game use GPU more than CPU

Such as? The 4460/4590 are entry level i5's. Below that would be an i3. Which would be losing performance.

my 4460 didnt even get to 80% on Gaming ( Mad Max, COD AW , BF4, CSGO )

Your point? It still performs better than anything below it. So, I don't know what your point is. An i3/AMD CPU would be losing performance.

4460/4590 is the sweet spot for gaming.

i7-4790K, it has the best single core performance of any chip out there and will even kill a 5960X in most games.
