one with FOUR sockets? Are you TRYING to make a central heating unit? I have owned scrap servers with four intel sockets, but no AMD. and because of having four sockets, the motherboard wasnt ATX.

Just going off the top of my head, I don't think AMD was ever really popular for server CPUs / multi socket motherboards, so if you find one, it's like a unicorn from my knowledge. I think you're talking about windows enterprise, but I've seen people with dual CPU configurations run WIN7 PRO before.

would be perfect for the winter.  when it starts I use my computer to heat up the house while folding.

I use mine. PC stays under 70 degrees anywhere in the system. Pretty good for over 400W TDP

yeah. well my h80i transfers the heat with the room a bit too easely, so I have a cool cpu (50-60) but a heated up house.   if I want it to be cooler I just open the window :P

In reno nevada, one does not simply "open a window" to make it cooler.

CPU miner.

Video rendering.

Folding.

Most new desktops have more power now than this.

4 x 8389s @ 2.9Ghz each.

I am sorry, I couldnt do it. the sockets arent in straight lines with each other.

Fair enough :). This model came with an expansion board to add 4 more CPUs for a octa CPU solution.
