Fans for Prolimatech Megahalems

Cs342

Which fans would go best with the Megahalems Black Edition heatsink in terms of both cooling and aesthetics? I'm thinking of using the Corsair SP120 quiet editions with the white rings.

Have you tried turning it off and on again?

Gentle typhoons?

(Corsair fans aint good)

Why aren't they good? They seem to be getting positive reviews everywhere

they don't suck and look good. so many people buy them because of the colored rings. But they are not highend.

Would the high performance editions be worth it over the quiet editions? HOw much louder are they and how much better will they cool with the megahalems?

Performance editions are way too loud for me.

I would never buy the performance editions...they are really loud. why would you buy a 50$ heatsink and than put really noisy fans on it? That's just silly! The Quiet editions will do the trick...there are not bad...but just not at the top :D

and i think this looks really nice!

Are there any graphs comparing different fans on the Megahalems? I can't find any with the SP120 quiet editions.

I have two Silverstone AP121's on my megahelms, amazing cooling capabilities, but really loud if you dont have fan control.
