Corsair Dominator Pro vs Vengeance LPX?

Why is Dominator Pro so much more expensive. I know u can overclock it a more cause its high profile ram but how can it be so much more expensive,

So? I sold my 5820k 980 SLI rig for better grades in my last year in high school. Me owning a mac doesn't change the facts.

Just buy AMD, G.Skill or HyperX RAM! (Corsair is just a brand name the RAM is no better...)

No gaming gives me more time to study

If one is very self-disciplined then there is no need for such extreme measures but in my case i need to stop gaming to achieve better grades. In terms of costing me money, it sure didn't because my rig was sold for close to 1.8k and the mac mini only cost me 700. I will build a gaming pc once i finish high school and have a gap year for civil service (mandatory here in Austria).

Vengence LPX are standard height. might not have to worry about will my cpu fan fit? Dominiator Platinum, are taller and you will need to run AIO for that. Going with air cooling can do done too, that is if you're just using 2 sticks, with no plans to upgrade in the future. Want 4 sticks then either aio or use stock cooler.
