Posted September 27, 2015 i ve read everywhere, that intel cpu's are much better than amd, so im going to get an intel cpu, it also leaves room for upgrades whereas a fx 8350 doesnt. i need a motherboard under £80 ($120) which is very reliable and can overclock. i will probably gat a i5 4460, this cannot overclock i know, but my future cpu might be able too. suggestions will be muchly appreciated! Posted September 27, 2015 If you want a Z97 motherboard you're going to be spending over 100usd for a good one. At that point it comes down to the rest of your build as each has strengths and weaknesses. If anyone asks you never saw me.
 Posted September 27, 2015 No SLI support. To be fair, OP hasn't stated if they will need a board that supports SLI or Crossfire. But here's one that supports both. http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/msi-motherboard-z97sslikraitedition
 I wouldn't get a Z97 board without SLI support because the point of getting a Z97 board with a locked CPU is adaptability. So for a few extra bucks if you want to go with duel GPUs you can. If anyone asks you never saw me.
